    Welcome Message

      Dear Colleagues, Members, and Partners,

It is a profound honor to address you as the new President of the Asia Pacific Endodontic Confederation. I would like to express my sincere appreciation to our past leadership, our Board, our Councilors, and every national society for their dedication and contributions. Today, our specialty is evolving at an unprecedented pace. Innovations in digital technologies, biomaterials, and research, are reshaping how we diagnose, treat, and teach. In this rapidly changing landscape, the Asia-Pacific region has the potential to participate in the global evolution of endodontics.

To guide our work over the coming term, APEC will focus on three strategic priorities

    1. Education and Clinical Excellence
We will expand high-quality educational opportunities, enhance the dissemination of evidence- based knowledge, and support innovation that addresses real clinical challenges. Our goal is to elevate standards of care across all member countries and ensure that our specialty remains at the forefront of dental science.

    2.Collaboration and Connectivity
Strong partnerships are essential for meaningful progress. APEC will deepen cooperation with international organizations—including IFEA, the European Society of Endodontology, the American Association of Endodontists, and similar partners. Strengthening connections among our member societies will foster shared research, clinical exchange, and unified scientific leadership across the region.

    3. Awareness and Advocacy
We will work with national societies to raise public and professional awareness of the importance of preserving natural teeth and the critical role of endodontists in oral health. Advocacy efforts, communication initiatives, and unified messaging will help reinforce the relevance and value of our specialty in modern healthcare. We will also continue to prioritize inclusivity, mentorship, and opportunities for young clinicians and researchers. I am committed to leading with transparency, collaboration, and purpose. Together, we can build a more connected, innovative, and patient-centered future for endodontics in our region.

Thank you for your trust, commitment, and partnership. I look forward to a productive and inspiring term ahead.

    With warm regards

    Dr. Walid Nehme
